Pinch is an AI assistant run by Gather. You text us, we call companies to save you money, and we text you what we got. This page explains what we keep to do that.
What we collect
- Your messages. Your phone number, the texts you send us, and anything you share: bills you forward, account or policy numbers, the medicine and zip code for a price check, and your first name.
- Calls we make for you. Recordings and transcripts of the calls Pinch places to companies and pharmacies, including the part where you join to verify your account.
- Website visits. Pages viewed, which saving you tapped, and the ad or link that brought you here. We use an anonymous visitor id, not your name or number. If you arrive from a Meta (Facebook or Instagram) ad, Meta's pixel records the visit and the tap so we can measure our ads.
How we use it
- To make the calls you ask for and tell you the result.
- To remember your details so you don't repeat them next time.
- To check call quality and improve Pinch.
- To measure which ads and pages work.
We never sell your information. We never agree to a purchase, plan change or payment for you without your explicit yes by text.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run Pinch, and only what each one needs:
- The companies we call for you, which hear what's needed to find your account and ask for a better price.
- Messaging and phone carriers (Photon), voice and call infrastructure (LiveKit, Vapi), AI models (Anthropic, Google), email intake (Resend), and hosting and storage (Convex, Railway, Vercel).
- Meta, for ad measurement, as described above.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Your choices
- Text STOP to (234) 281-9406 and we won't text you first again. Text START to turn updates back on.
- Text what do you know about me to see what we've saved.
- Text delete my data to erase your messages, saved details, calls and recordings.
- Or email delbert@gatherat.ai.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until it's no longer needed to run Pinch. Recordings are deleted with your data.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with providers that encrypt it at rest. Access is limited to the people who run Pinch.
Children
Pinch is for adults 18 and over in the United States. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the date above.
